| If you are over 70 years old, in receipt of any of the benefits listed below and either own, or rent your property from a private landlord. The full WarmFront Grant of up to £2700 to insulate your property will be available to you, saving you money and making your home warmer much more energy efficient. |
Am I eligible?
To be an successful applicant eligible for the WarmFront Grant and receive FREE cavity wall and loft insulation you must be applicable to the following criteria:
1. Homeowner Aged 70 and over:
- You are eligible due to your age. You do NOT need to receive any additional benefits to qualify.
- You will receive the full Warm Front Grant.
- The Grant is non-repayable. Once you receive it you do not need to pay it back.
- If you move house and have already claimed, you can make an additional claim if the property your claiming for is your principle home
- The grant is non-means tested.
- The Grant is issued regardless of income, savings or investments.
2.
Aged 70 or over and privately rent the property you live in:
- You are eligible due to your age. You do NOT need to receive any additional benefits to qualify.
- You will receive the full Warm Front Grant.
- The Grant is non-repayable. Once you receive it you do not need to pay it back.
- If you move house and have already claimed, you can make an additional claim if the property your claiming for is your principle home
- The grant is non-means tested.
- The Grant is issued regardless of income, savings or investments.
3. Householders AND Private tennants of any age in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:
- Working Tax Credit (with an income of less than £15,460)
- Disability Living Allowance
- Child Tax Credit (with an income of less than £15,460)
- Housing Benefit
- Income Support
- Council Tax Benefit
- War Disablement Pension (which must include a mobility supplement or Constant Attendance Allowance)
- Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
- Attendance Allowance
- Pension credit
- You are eligible due to the benefits you receive.
- You only need to receive ONE of the listed benefits
- You will receive the full Warm Front Grant.
- The Grant is non-repayable. Once you receive it you do not need to pay it back.
- If you move house and have already claimed, you can make an additional claim if the property your claiming for is your principle home
- The grant is non-means tested.
- The Grant is given regardless of income, savings or investments
The Term Householder includes the applicants spouse, or partner, if they are living with the applicant.
Eligble aplicants will recive FREE Cavity wall and loft Insulation.
